I have a 120GB Ultra-ATA hard drive for my computer. But it aslo has SATA slots for like, 9 hard drives. I don't need 9 hard drives, but 120 GB is being eaten up quicker than I thought. Heck, 3 years ago that was a decent sized hard drive.

But now my question is can I put in an additional SATA hardrive along with my ATA hardrive. I don't necesarilly want them to be read under the same drive name, but I do want more memory. And the SATA's now are cheap.

sure you can , they would be separate drive letters or mount points depending on what you use , you might even setup raid

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was possible to mix and match drives like that (use one ATA drive and one SATA drive). It doesn't matter if they're different mount points or not. I just need more space.
