It just appears weird. I guess i'm used to seeing more direct routes haha. Looks like this route will get me there in a bit of a roundabout way.

Yeah, the water is just the river, and there are bridges here and there haha. Flying could be interesting over what was it 5 miles? haha. Also in another month or so driving over water will be an option here Tongue In fact, some commuters even take an ice road on one of the rivers near here because it cuts so much time off of their commute. A couple hours further north, and there is actually a highway that only exists when there is enough ice to drive on.
